Snow day Frustration!

So.... home all day due to "Snowmagaden" and thought I would bake. Went to the fridge to get the ingredients for some peanut butter cookies... No eggs! UGH! Decided to do some updating on the blog - still having issues with Google Docs. For some reason, I can not get the link to show on the right side so I can embed my documents! One more frustration and I may just have to go outside and shovel!

I just found your blog today, and I'm glad that I did- there are some great ideas! We are working on a persuasive writing unit very soon, and I was very glad to see your book recommendations. I'm feeling your snow day frustration too- we are on 2 in a row, and I've already gotten the call for tomorrow :( I'm ready to get back!

Google Docs has changed permanently I believe. I used to be able to get my docs embedded and now I can't either and I've seen on other blogs that they can't either. What I do is take a pic of the document by doing a right click and clicking something like "save image as". Then I put the picture in the blog entry and link the blog entry to the google doc. To get the google doc link click on the share button on the top right and copy the link where it says share with e-mail and IM (it still works with blogs too). Let me know if it works. :)

I was able to embed my documents using a code I figured out. I can email it to you if you want. (It won't let me put it here). By the way I just gave you a shout out on my blog. I'm doing a 2nd grade scavenger hunt looking for great 2nd grade blogs! Love your blog!
